LASER HAIR REMOVAL
Laser Hair Removal is
We offer advanced laser hair removal treatments using our Cutera Xeo Machine. Providing advanced laser hair removal for all skin types.
Combining a new high-power 755 nm Alexandrite laser, and CUTERA’s proven long-pulse 1064 nm Nd:YAG laser, coupled with the superiority of sapphire contact cooling, Xeo redefines modern laser hair removal.
How does it work?
Using a specific wavelength of light that is selectively absorbed by the melanin surrounding the hair follicle, the laser is applied to the skin and the heat is conducted down to the base of the follicle. At the same time the superior contact cooling Technology cools the skin to protect and avoid any damage to the surrounding skin. The hair will be destroyed and removed. All delivered by an award winning laser clinic in Swindon for the best laser hair removal
How Many Treatments are Required?
A course of treatments is required as laser hair removal is effective on hairs in the growing stage or visible on the skin. At any one time 70% of the hairs in the skin are dormant and not visible on the surface. Therefore for maximum clearance treatments are required for each phase of hair growth.
The Cutera Xeo laser typically requires less treatments than older IPL or lasers. For most people this machine achieves clearance in an average of 8 -10 sessions but individual results vary from person to person Occasional top ups may be required.
Treatments are scheduled between 4 and 8 or 10 weeks apart as you wait for the next phase of hair growth to appear on the surface. The frequency of the sessions depends on the areas being treated as hair growth varies in different areas. Facial treatments are typically every 4-6 weeks and body treatments are typically every 6-8 or even 10 weeks
